Insurance
In-Network Insurance
Jawan Dickerson-Escobar accepts select insurance plans through Headway for eligible individual psychotherapy services. Current in-network plans include:
Aetna • Cigna • Carelon Behavioral Health • Independence Blue Cross (IBX) • Ascension SmartHealth
Insurance participation and coverage vary by state, plan, and member benefits. Eligibility and benefits must be verified before services are provided.
Using Your Insurance
If you plan to use insurance, you may be directed to Headway to verify your benefits, review your estimated cost of care, and complete insurance-related scheduling and billing.
For plans not listed above, services may still be eligible for out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance provider to determine whether your plan includes reimbursement for out-of-network psychotherapy services.
I recommend asking your insurance provider:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and how much have I met?
What are my copay or coinsurance costs for outpatient psychotherapy?
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Does my plan limit the number of sessions I may receive?
Does my employer offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that covers counseling services?
Payment
For your convenience, Solace & Sage accepts major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, Apple Pay, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. Payment for private-pay services and any applicable insurance copays, coinsurance, or deductibles is due at the time services are rendered.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
